We have a helpful guide on how to resize images available for your reference here.
For background images, you want images that are 1920px x 1080px and then if the image is a hero background image (in the first section of the site) you'll also need a version of that image sized for mobile. The mobile version should be 700X700px.
The images in the last section of each page, when used, are sized to be 800x800px.
